The Russian Advertising Market in 2012

The advertizing market in the past year reached 300 billion rubles that for 13% exceeds indicators of the 2011th - Association of communication agencies of Russia testified. Small and medium business advertisers acted most actively, experts notice and connect it with economy growth as a whole.

The media advertizing market in 2012 grew by 13%. That is the data of Association of communication agencies of Russia. And the total volume of a platform reached nearly 300 billion rubles.

The advertizing market on television for 2012 grew by 9% — 143 billion rubles.  The radio television showed growth in 9%, cable and satellite — in 27%.  Advertizing on radio became 23% more.  Volume reached 14,6 billion rubles.

PR materials in print media showed the smallest gain - only 2%.  Newspapers added 8% — a result of 2012 is 9,5 billion, magazines — 1% — 20 billion rubles.  Advertizing editions lost 1% of the income, result is 11,6 billion rubles.

The outdoor advertizing grew by 10% — almost to 38 billion rubles.

The Internet advertizing flew up for 35% — to 56 billion rubles. Other media as indoor-advertizing and advertizing at movie theaters, showed growth in 14% — almost to 5 billion rubles.

The year was very successful for the market of advertizing, experts note. First of all, in their opinion, it is connected with economy growth. And small and medium business added in budgets much quicker than big competitors.
